Chronic sinusitis is a condition in which the sinuses inside our skull become inflamed for months and years together. This condition can considerably reduce ones quality of life. Patients suffering from chronic Sinusitis complain of difficulty in breathing from nose, headaches, pain and tenderness in the face.
Yellow greenish discharges may also be present from the nose and also from the back of the throat. In most cases, this kind of chronic inflammation in the sinuses is caused by underlying allergic reactions to pollen, pet dander, and dust mites, smoke etc. Homeopathic treatment of chronic sinusitis is very effective and has a strong edge over the conventional treatments. The main symptoms of chronic sinusitis are pain in the face and pressure in the areas of forehead, temples, cheeks, and nose and behind the eyes, discharge of a thick yellow or greenish discharge from the nose or down the back of the throat, obstructed and difficult breathing through the nose, diminished sense of smell or taste, frequent Headache (especially in morning), Teeth pain, Fatigue, Cough, and Sore throat.
As homeopathy is a symptom based system of medicine, the prescription is based upon the symptoms presented by the patient. Many symptomatic factors determine the choice of remedy .i.e. the type of discharges from the nose and throat, the sinus that is involved and other factors like the time of the year when this problem increases also its relation to weather. The main homeopathic medicines used for treating chronic sinusitis are Hydrastis, kali bichrome, Silicea and Merc Sol. Luffa Opercula requires a special mention for treating allergies and sinusitis both. Lemna Minor works well in cases where the sinusitis is complicated by nasal polyps.
At times the treatment of underlying allergy may also require a totally different set of medicines. Prescription based on the detailed study of the patient’s physical and mental makeup (which is also called as constitutional prescribing) is at times required to cure the allergy from the base.

I have been suffering from sinusitis for 10 months now. I feel miserable. Every day my nose feels blocked, I am unable to have any discharge thru my nostrils to relieve the pressure I feel in my head. I have frequent headaches and have zero energy. I was a keen cyclist prior to falling ill riding over 300 miles per week. I can barely make it upstairs at the moment. I would be so grateful if you could suggest some sort of treatment. I am suffering from sinus since long..i had taken a homeopathy treatment for this also so my allergic infections were become less ..but 2 moths ago i got cold and since then it is not curing..15 days ago i got my right nostril block since then i am able to breathe frome right nostril..i checked with ent and he told me of surgery to get removed this polyp..kindly advise me what i should do..
Sir I have chronic sinusitis involving only left side skull area with posterior dropping of mucus .the mucosa is clear little bit thick . It is hawk up more when walking. Front part is always dry and breathing is interrupted in sleep with snoring. Other symptoms are absent. Aggravation during cold and dust irritates. Right side is very clear. problems is from about 20 to 25 years. My age is near 67 years. Kindly suggest homoeopathic treatment.

Sir, I have severe allergy headaches. I was diagnosed with Sinus infection through PNS years ago. But after it has been cured, I still do not have any relief from allergy headaches which is directly related to cold and cough, semi-solid nasal discharges. The nasal discharges are sometimes yellow,white or do not have any colour. Hi sir two years before when I was pregnant at that time I suffered with cold and cough and mostly I get mucus from my throat .i had shown to the Entertainment specialist they said it happens during pregnancy post delivery it will be completely go off. Hello sir i have a problem of severe chronic sinusitis headache and sneezing d running nose in summer and nose block throat infection cough and breathing suffocation in winter and rainy season last 7 yrs.past 3 months i am taking homeopathy medicine for these complines. I am 34 year old having sinus ( frontal and ethnics) problem. Whenever I come in contact with cold air and dust I am getting infected like having headache.
